Our Commitment

At Book Taco, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to fall in love with reading. We are committed to creating an inclusive digital environment where educators and students can access our reading comprehension tools and educational resources as independently as possible.

Inclusive design benefits all learners—from students using screen readers to early readers using text-to-speech to support their literacy development. Our goal is to provide a platform that supports diverse learning needs and reduces barriers to participation.

Our Standards

Book Taco’s accessibility efforts align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, with ongoing efforts toward WCAG 2.2. These standards help ensure our platform is usable by individuals with a wide range of abilities, including those with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Accessibility Features

To support accessibility, Book Taco incorporates practices such as:
